The Graceful Girl

They looked at her in pity -

"She'll miss out on so much, she's so little!"

But the artist disagreed and thought,

'Let's immortalise this beauty!'

From capturing her image,

to the final brush stroke of paint,

she holds you spellbound with her gaze -

You'd hardly walk by in a haste.

Her pose! Such poise!

No trace of pain or misery in her eyes.

I gleaned so much as I admired her;

and I concluded: no limits can shroud me!
